On Saturday the 5th of November 2011 was a one day only
market in the heart of Prahran, featuring art, design, jewellery, homewares and live music/painting and food on the day.

Goodtime Studios in Carlton. One night only, October the 8th 2011!
"Just Another Group Show" (Melbourne)
For the second year in a row now,
Just Another Agency held a huge group exhibition at
1000 £ Bend in Melbourne CBD as a side event for
Semi Permanent. The show ran from the 20th of Sept 2011 to the 26th, all works between 50cms square and 100cms square. The opening night was the 22nd from 6-9pm. Watch the vid

"Sink Or Swim" (San Francisco)
PangeaSeed, a Japanese Shark Conservation Organisation is holding a group show entitled 'Sink or Swim' to raise awareness and funds to help stop the barbaric and cruel practise of shark fin harvesting. Here's their
blog entry about the show, some impressive names! I sent up this piece, which seemed just the right fit - sharks/japan. This show was held at
Spoke Art Gallery in San Francisco, it was the first time my work has been shown on the west coast of USA. The show ran from the 23rd to the 25th of September 2011.

Folk Art | Fine Art (Melbourne)
Brunswick Street Gallery held a group show with an Asian Folk Art theme. I painted a few more works on the Japanese origami paper for this one. The show opened on the 26th of August and ran to the 8th of September 2011.
Paper Thin (Sydney)
Colour by Numbers Gallery hosted a show of works on paper to launch the gallery from the 25th of August 2011 to the 4th of September, at their space on Enmore road in Sydney.
The Sideshow (Melbourne)
A group show of circus sideshow themed works happened at
For Walls Gallery inside Miss Libertines in the Melbourne CBD. The show started on August the 3rd and ran until the 27th, 2011.
SOLO SHOW! - EXOSKELETONS (Melbourne)
I held my 3rd solo show this year at
No Vacancy Project Space in Federation Square. Working with my recent exoskeleton theme, this show featured a mix of canvas and 3d pieces. The opening night was July the 1st, the show ran from June the 28th - July 10th 2011.

Up Close at Colour By Numbers (Sydney)
Colour By Numbers is a new gallery with no fixed address, and will be holding fortnightly exhibitions at pop up locations in Sydney and Melbourne. Founder Lauren Biedrzycki has set up a
Pozible Crowdfunding profile, and many artists including me have donated prints to help the gallery startup fund. Have a look, pick up some art and contribute to a great cause! On Thursday the 16th of June, there was a pop up show at Lo Fi Collective (Floor 3, 383 Bourke Street, Surry Hills, NSW), to promote the fundraising campaign and display all the work that people have donated.

Hardware Gallery in Sydney held their annual group show of work on vinyl records from the 20th of May to the 11th of June 2011.

Rose Street Market (Melbourne)
On Sunday the 5th of June I shared a stall at
Rose Street Market in Fitzroy (Melbourne) with the clever laser cut jeweller
Chris Maxwell. Framed prints, badges, cards and all manner of things were on sale! Rose Street Market is 60 Rose Street in Fitzroy, open Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 5pm. Handmade goodies, live music, food and close to everything.
Beats, Bricks and Pockets (Melbourne)
A fundraising art + music event on Friday the 3rd of June at Donkey Wheel House, for Traditional Healthcare Inc. I donated a small piece for this one...lots more info on their

Urban Art Throw Up (Melbourne)
Brunswick Street Gallery put on a group show with a great mix of street art, illustration, sculpture, even a bit of knit graffiti! The opening night was Friday May 27th and the show ran until June 9th, 2011
Get Trucked 2011 (Melbourne)
Just Another Agency hosted their regular charity show Get Trucked at
No Vacancy Gallery's Project Space in Federation Square. With the proceeds going to Camp Quality, many artists painted on trucker caps, all priced at $60. The show opened on May 8th 2011 and ran until the 15th, opening night was the 12th of May from 6-9pm.

Uchiwa Fan Fundraiser (Adelaide)
Espionage Gallery in Adelaide hosted a week long fundraising exhibition to raise money for the Japan Appeal. 50 artists painted on paper fans, each priced at $60 and 100% of the funds raised went to the Red Cross. The show opened on Thursday the 5th of May 2011 and ran to the 12th of May.

This Little Teapot (Sydney)

Toy to the World
Along with many other local and international artists I took part in Toy to the World, an auction to raise funds for the Victorian AIDS Council. We transformed a vinyl bear toy into a unique piece of art! My bear won 3rd place in the competition for creativity - read my blog entry with images

here. The exhibition was part of the Midsumma Festival and took place from Jan 17th - Feb 6th 2011, at
45 Downstairs in the Melbourne CBD.
